Appointment Policy

Appointments are scheduled during office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

We regret you may have to wait to be seen, but a large part of orthopedics is emergency in nature. It is a policy of this office to see emergencies first.

If this were your emergency, we know you would agree.

Medical Emergencies

IF YOU HAVE A SERIOUS MEDICAL EMERGENCY GO TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM. If a medical problem requires immediate attention, every effort will be made to have you come to our office or to the Licking Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

To make your visit as smooth and easy as possible, we ask that you please read and follow these instructions:

  • Arrive early, approximately 15 minutes before your appointment, so that we can copy your insurance card(s) and make sure your paperwork is complete.
  • Print and complete forms. Download and complete the forms before arriving. Completing forms now will save you time when you arrive and allows you ample time to gather the necessary information.
  • Call (740) 788-9220 to schedule your appointment during normal business hours.
    It is essential that you bring all of your X-ray films, including any MRIs, with you to your appointment for a complete assessment of your condition.

You need to bring your current insurance card(s) to every appointment, so we may obtain the necessary and correct information to file your charges with the correct insurance companies. While we participate with most insurance companies, including BWC, please verify with your insurance company of our participation with your specific plan and if they require you to obtain a referral for your visit(s).

Bring a list of all medicines you are currently taking, including any over-the-counter medicines and herbal supplements. Your list should consist of the drug name, dose (mg), and how often you take it (once a day, twice a day, as needed, etc.).
